How bursting microbubbles can help reduce tumours

Pancreatic cancer tends to be asymptomatic until the tumour is large and established and at that point it may be too late to eliminate. Researchers from Ulster University have created SonoTarg which aims at eliminating the disease. SonoTarg involves putting chemotherapy drugs in microbubbles and targeting the exact location of the pancreatic tumour to eliminate it.
